Job Description
Our client is a leading corporate legal advisory firm with rich history in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Due to expansion, it is seeking competent and experienced individual with management experience to rise to the challenge.
As a key member of the IT team, you will play a significant role supporting the IT Manager to maintain and manage the IT services and infrastructure (Servers, Databases, Network, Applications) and to drive IT projects that increases the efficiency of the firm’s operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and Group Policy on Windows Server 2008/2012
- Administer MS Exchange 2010 which includes global rules, policies, monitoring and scripting
- Support and maintain IT Infrastructure which includes troubleshooting and upgrading
- Manage Application Servers and to engage with vendor’s support team when required
- Perform renewal of maintenance contracts and licenses
- Generate scheduled and ad-hoc SQL reports for Management and users
- Provide end user IT support, including setup and deployment of workstations, installation of software and hardware devices
- Perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or its equivalent
- Proven minimum 3 years of experience in related position
- Experience with Windows Server in virtualised environment (Hyper-V)
- Proficient in Windows Server 2008, 2012 administration
- Proficient in Active Directory domain services administration that includes Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO), Group Policy Management Console (GPMC)
- Proficient in Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 administration
- Proficient in SQL Server administration that includes reporting services
- Microsoft Certification (MCSA) will be added advantage
- Familiar with networking infrastructure such as DNS, DHCP, Cisco Networking, Firewall Security, VPN remote access
- Familiar storage infrastructure such as SAN storage and NAS backup
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and positive attitude
